Carpet Cleaning · Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire
Commercial carpet cleaning by Prochem hot water extraction for offices, schools, pubs and other business premises in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, worked in the evening so floors are dry for morning.

The service
Workplace carpet wears in patterns: the busy doorway, the corridor, the chair castors, the spill by the kettle. Olivers cleans it with Prochem hot water extraction and professional stain removal, booked for evenings, nights or weekends so your business never works round wet floors.

01
Every job follows the same Prochem sequence. A pre-spray breaks down soil and oils, agitation works it into the base of the pile, then hot water is injected under pressure and drawn straight back out with the dirt. A rinse leaves no residue, and hand tools reach the edges the machine head cannot.

02
Stains are treated before the main clean with products matched to the cause: coffee, ink, chewing gum and shoe polish each need something different. We say up front which marks should lift and which have changed the dye. Odour usually sits in the backing, so extraction removes the source and a treatment follows if needed.

03
Drying depends on the pile, the airflow and the heating, so we do not promise a set time. Instead the work is booked for evenings, nights or weekends, giving the carpet the empty building to dry. Regular extraction is the protection: lifting grit before it cuts the fibre keeps carpet in service longer.

04
We visit first, measuring areas or counting rooms, checking pile and fibre, and noting which furniture moves and how the machines get in, by ground-floor door or lift. A year-round extraction programme is quoted differently from a single visit. The written quote lists areas, stains and access times, so nothing is left to argue over.

05
Fitted with an upholstery tool, the same extraction machines clean office chairs, reception sofas and boardroom seating, on the same visit so the room is finished together. Entrance matting is extracted regularly to stop grit reaching the carpet beyond it. Loose rugs are cleaned in place or lifted, depending on the backing.

06
Olivers cleans carpet for businesses only, mostly within or alongside a cleaning contract across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Our machines, crews and scheduling are set up for commercial premises with out-of-hours access, and each type of building below has its own pattern of wear and its own quiet window for the work.

Good to know
It depends on the area, the furniture to move and how soiled the pile is. A clear open-plan floor moves quickly; a stained, heavily used corridor takes longer. We give you a working estimate when we visit and book an evening, night or weekend slot to suit it.
That is set by pile, airflow and heating, so we do not quote a fixed time. We work in the evening or overnight so the carpet has the empty building to dry in and is ready by morning. Leaving the heating on and a window ajar helps.
No, and we will tell you which beforehand. Fresh spills and most food and drink marks lift well with professional stain removal and extraction. Marks left for months, rubbed with the wrong product or bleached have often changed the dye, and no cleaning method restores colour to a fibre.
Fibre and construction are identified before work starts, and the temperature, pre-spray and drying approach are set to suit. Hot water extraction suits most commercial carpet; where a wool or blended pile needs a gentler setting, that is written onto the job sheet first.
What moves and what is cleaned around is agreed in advance and written into the quote. Chairs, bins and light items are moved and put back; cabled desks, filing cabinets and fixed units are cleaned up to the edge. Clearing desks the night before helps the crew cover more floor.
Fabric and fibre are checked before work starts so the method suits the material. Our Safety Rules for Contractors, PPE and accident reporting are audited working documents open to inspection, and a Certificate of Employers Liability Insurance is shown on request.
