Our story
The Oliver Family, Four Generations In
The firm began seventy years ago in Hemel Hempstead, cleaning windows. Office and commercial contracts followed, then carpets and the specialist work that supports them, and the client base grew the way a local contractor's does: one building recommending the next across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Four generations of the same family have run it, and the way the work is organised has not changed much. Every cleaner is our own employee, uniformed and trained for the site they serve, and living close enough to it that the same people turn up each visit. We supply and maintain our own products and equipment. We meet every contract client monthly to audit the standard and report on it.
We don't cut corners, we clean them. It is a line the family has used for a long time, and it is still how the contracts are run.
How we work

Our own employees, alwaysEvery cleaner is on our payroll. No agency labour, so the people on your site are trained by us, uniformed by us and answerable to us.
Trained per site and to COSHHEach cleaner is trained for the building they work in and to COSHH Health and Safety Regulations before they start.
Cleaners who live locallyStaff continuity comes from cleaners who live near the sites they serve, so the same faces turn up and the standard holds.
A meeting every monthStandards are audited and reported on at a monthly meeting with the client. Problems are caught there, not in a complaint.

Before any cleaning method is used on a site, the health and safety measures around it are assessed. To do that properly, and to show the commitment, the firm engaged a specialist company in the field and has its procedures audited every year.
